Custom Monitor
lets you create several text monitor areas in the overlay. Each area is a separate list that can be dragged, resized and styled on its own.
Three kinds of monitor areas
| Type | How to create | Content | Needs setup? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Factor Config Area | New Factor Area (S3 and earlier seasons) | Energy and Buff effects of your currently equipped factors | No, generated automatically |
| Season Node Area | New Factor Area (from S4) | Buff effects of activated season nodes | No, generated automatically |
| Manual Area | New Monitor Area | Buffs and counters you pick by hand | Yes |
When you click New Factor Area, the app decides which kind to create based on the current season: from S4 it creates a season node zone; in earlier seasons it creates a factor zone.
Factor zone
Once created, the app generates entries automatically from the factors you currently have equipped. Common ones are:
- True Factor A / B energy: count progress;
- True Factor A / B Buff effect: the Buff duration after the factor triggers.
Entries are maintained entirely by the system:
- They are synced as a whole once when you change maps; after that, when you switch factor paths or change the loaded factors in game, the entries update automatically;
- You cannot manually add Buffs or counters to a factor zone.
Changing display names:
| Entry | Where to change it |
|---|---|
| Count-type entries such as energy | With the factor zone selected, search for the slot (name / description) in Factor Display Names and enter a custom display name. It is saved per slot template and still applies after switching profiles |
| Buff effect entries | Buff Monitor · Buff Alias Settings (global) |
Season node zone
From S4, New Factor Area creates a season node zone: it shows the Buff effects of activated nodes, which appear automatically once a node is activated, with no display names to set up.
Manual zone
Click New Monitor Area to create one, then put things in it:
- Add Buff: pick from the Buff search; added only to the current monitor area. Composite buffs can be picked too;
- Show active state only (no timer): the Buff entry stays on screen and only shows whether it is active, without a timer;
- Add Counter: choose a counter slot from the preset rules or your own custom rules;
- Hide when count is 0: the counter takes no space while it is 0;
- Configure voice broadcast: announce when the count reaches its target.
In Current Group Entries you can change display names, reorder entries or remove them.
Built-in preset counters
Some triggers do not show up as Buffs and need counting instead (for example "triggers once every few hits" or "internal cooldown"). The app includes the following presets, which you can pick directly when adding a counter:
| Category | Presets |
|---|---|
| General / class | Transcendence Trigger Count, Heart of Stone Trigger Count, Frenzied Cleave Combo Count, Bash Pursuit Count, Granite Fury Pursuit Count, Judgment Pursuit Count - Light Shield, Judgment Pursuit Count - Defense Shield |
| Fantasia Impact | Fantasia Impact Stacks - 30 - Frost Mage, Fantasia Impact Stacks - 30 - Beat Performer |
| Specialization passive | Flamehorn - Passive |
| Module / set | N20-Healing Bot Cooldown, N20-Tina ATK Down Cooldown |
| S4 | Vanguard S4 - Auto Dragon Cannon, Vanguard S4 - Extra Phantom Spiral, Ray S4 - Frost Infusion 4-Piece, Verdant S4 - Inspiration X6 Moonlight Solace |
Custom counter rules
When the presets are not enough, you can build your own in Custom Counter Rules:
- New Rule;
- In Select Sources, choose the event sources that advance the count (multiple allowed);
- In Select Slots, choose the slots to show on the panel (multiple allowed);
- Fill in Rule Name and save;
- Go back to a manual zone and use Add Counter to select the rule you just saved.
This is a feature for advanced users; most users can simply use the presets or a factor zone.
Monitor area style
Each monitor area can set its own Current Monitor Area Style: row spacing, font size, spacing between name and value, and the colors and opacity of the name / value / progress bar.
Examples
Example Automatically show factor energy and season nodesScenario: During combat you want to see at any time how much factor energy you have built up and when factor effects or season node Buffs trigger, without having to figure out how to configure counter rules.
Step 1: Create a factor zone
- Open .
- Click New Factor Area.
- Give it a name in Monitor Area Name, for example "Factors".
Depending on the current season, the new area will be:
- S3 and earlier: Factor Config Area, listing the energy and Buff effects of your equipped factors;
- From S4: Season Node Area, listing the Buff effects of activated nodes.
Step 2: Change maps once
The entries come from the full character data synced by the game. After creating the zone, teleport or enter and leave a dungeon once, and the factor zone fills up. After that, when you change factors or switch paths in game, the entries update automatically, with no need to recreate the zone.
Step 3: Give entries recognizable names (factor zone only)
The default names may be internal descriptions; you can change them to whatever you are used to:
- Energy entries: search for the slot in Factor Display Names and enter, for example, "A Energy" as the custom display name.
- Buff effect entries: go to , search for the Buff and set an alias, for example "A Trigger".
Names in the season node zone come straight from the node Buffs, so there is nothing to set.
Step 4: Adjust style and position
- In Current Monitor Area Style, increase the font size and set the progress bar color.
- Click Edit Overlay Layout at the top of the page and drag the factor zone next to your skill CDs.
Advanced: view it alongside other Buffs
You cannot add entries to a factor zone by hand. If you also want to watch a particular burst Buff, create a manual zone with New Monitor Area to hold that Buff, then place the two areas right next to each other in the layout.
Example Track Flamehorn's Absolute Luck with a preset counterScenario: You play the Flamehorn specialization and want to see, all at once in the overlay, "how many more casts until Absolute Luck triggers", "the internal cooldown of Absolute Luck", and the Absolute Luck Buff itself.
This information does not fully show up as Buffs, so it needs counters. The app includes a Flamehorn - Passive preset, so you do not have to write the rule yourself.
Step 1: Create a manual zone
, and name it "Flamehorn".
Step 2: Add the two counter slots
In Add Counter, find Flamehorn - Passive and add these in turn:
| Slot | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Slot 1 | Counts completed skill casts and shows how many more are needed to trigger Absolute Luck |
| Slot 2 | Absolute Luck's cooldown: about 15 seconds normally, about 5 seconds while a specific active Buff is in effect |
Step 3: Put the Luck Buff in the same area
In the same monitor area, use Add Buff, search for Absolute Luck and add it. With the three pieces of information side by side, you can read the rhythm at a glance.

Other presets
The same approach works for the other built-in presets, for example:
- N20-Tina ATK Down Cooldown, N20-Healing Bot Cooldown: track the internal cooldowns of N20 module effects;
- S4 set effects such as Vanguard S4 - Auto Dragon Cannon and Ray S4 - Frost Infusion 4-Piece;
- Transcendence Trigger Count, Fantasia Impact Stacks - 30 - Frost Mage, and so on.
For the full list, see Built-in preset counters above. Any counter can use Configure voice broadcast to give a voice reminder when it reaches its target.
